• K-6 students may check out one book at a time. If they need one for a class project, they're permited to check out two books at a time.

• Books are due every two weeks. You must return your book(s) in order to get new ones!

I encourage students to select books using their personal choices. I provide guidance for choosing according to reading level, but unless a parent or teacher requests otherwise, the final decision is left up to the child. I like to encourage family literacy, so if a student assures me a parent will be reading with or to him, a "too difficult" book may be checked out.
